SWCCD: Relocation Management
Southwestern Community College District serves approximately 28,000 students across at its Chula Vista Campus and other satellite locations. As the District was expanding with their Bond projects in 2017, they engaged CBSI to help lead the planning, scope development, and relocations for their Chula Vista campus.
CBSI’s Master Service Agreement direct with the District includes contracting, oversight, FF&E coordination, schedule, onsite management, labor compliance, and invoicing of the move contractor. Move management services include a detailed scope of work, bid walks, space planning for swing spaces, stakeholder coordination, relocation trainings, and surplus management.
Relocation Projects include:
- New 75,000 sq. ft. Aquatics Center & Gym
- New 92,000 sq. ft Math, Science & Engineering Building
- New 46,000 sq. ft. Information Technology/Data Center
- New 9,000 sq. ft. Grounds Building
- New 80,000 sq. ft. Instructional Complex
- New 85,000 sq. ft. Student Union Center
