Santee Lakes Parking Lot Upgrades

This is the first project of the $60M Master Plan outlining the 20-year vision for the Park. As the assigned Project Manager for the Master Plan, CBSI was responsible for assisting the Park Director with the selection of the design team, writing the specifications and bid documents as well as managing the construction from start to finish. 

The project consisted of the demolition, grading, paving, shoreline restoration and landscaping of a previously undeveloped and underutilized area on the west side of Lakes 2 and 3. This project included installing 70,000 SF of paving with 154 parking spaces and new one-way drive lanes.  The park also added 3 new picnic sites along the shore and new landscaping covering over 50,000 SF.
