SDIA Administration Building: Move Management
As the San Diego International Airport continued its expansion and terminal upgrades, the location of the existing Airport Administration building was in conflict with the proposed Terminal and Roadways Improvement projects. The Design-Build project managed by Sundt Construction was the second relocation project for CBSI after the relocation of the Facilities Maintenance Department in 2020.
As Sundt was bidding on the project they reached out to CBSI to continue to partner and provide relocation management services. The new four story building provides 130,000 square-feet of space including administrative offices, board room, innovation lab, fitness center, staff & fleet parking. CBSI management services included:
- Scope development
- Move management
- Stakeholder coordination
- Subcontractor management
- FF&E relocation planning
