Arena Pharmaceuticals is a clinical stage company developing innovative therapies for the treatment of several immuno-inflammatory diseases. The company, located in San Diego, was recently acquired by Pfizer.

As Arena Pharmaceuticals started to return to the office post-pandemic they called on CBSI to help oversee several deferred maintenance and new construction projects for several of their buildings. Our team was responsible for the design, planning, scoping, and construction management for the following projects:

• Decommissioning & removal of an existing generator
• Decommissioning existing hazmat storage container
• Photovoltaic system repairs
• Parking lot repairs
• Roof repairs and installation of OSHA safety devices
• Removal and replacement of HVAC systems
• Boiler repairs
• EV charger installation
• Restroom plumbing upgrades
